Aadarsh Subramani

Aadarsh Subramani is an independent filmmaker based in Sydney. He grew up in the Pacific Islands of Fiji.
He started a Bachelor’s Degree in Law & Psychology before deciding to pursue a career in film. He has worked on multiple short films. He graduated from Sydney Film School with a Diploma in Screen and Media. He has a passion for writing and directing. Taking inspiration from directors such as Richard Linklater and Damien Chazelle, Subramani likes to integrate good storytelling with nostalgia and melancholic romance. His thesis short film “Synced With You”, was a subtle homage to classics such as ‘Manhattan’ and ‘Casablanca’.
Subramani also graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film at SAE Sydney. Getting the chance to work on multiple short films and documentaries, his filmamking skills have expanded across multiple roles.
